Strategies and Requirements for Corporate Arts:
artiparlado in Bozen- Bolzano

artiparlando is the title of a lecture series on "Business and Culture," presented by MUSEION (Museum for Modern and Contemporary Art) in Bolzano in cooperation with the Faculty of Design and Art at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.

As part of the series, representatives of Deutsche Bank will address issues regarding arts sponsorship and management. Thomas Rueschen, General Director of Deutsche Bank in Milan and Country Manager of Deutsche Bank Italy, will give a lecture on the social responsibility of banks, arts sponsorship, and the influence a commitment to supporting the arts has on a long-term increase in shareholder value.

As curator of Deutsche Bank, Friedhelm Huette will explain the basic concept and structure behind the Deutsche Bank Collection, which contains more than 50,000 works and has grown into one of the world's most significant corporate collections since being established in 1979. Mr. Huette's lecture will illustrate the strategies and requirements for corporate arts management, as well as the international exhibition and arts activities of Deutsche Bank, and the specifics of a unique joint venture between a bank and a museum, the Deutsche Guggenheim Berlin.

As part of artiparlando, Thomas Rueschen and Friedhelm Huette will speak in Bolzano on Tuesday, 11 February, at 8:00 pm. The location is the main lecture hall of the University of Bozen-Bolzano, at Spitalgasse 1.
