Deutsche Bank Art at the "Art Cologne" Fair

Our commitment to art has tradition: As in previous years the Deutsche Bank AG and Deutsche Bank Cologne will also be represented with a VIP Lounge at the international art fair Art Cologne (29.10. - 02.11.2003) this year. Art Cologne is the world’s eldest and most distinguished fair of 20th and 21st century art, in Germany. At the VIP Lounge visitors have the opportunity to get to know the new edition of our magazine visuell, which presents young art from the Deutsche Bank Collection and the Deutsche Guggenheim themed "one must daily devote oneself to accomplishments in art".

By being updated continuously, this Corporate Collection is dynamic and shows international relations and developments. This way, in 2002 exhibitions curated from the Collection were on display in all five continents. Thereby, visuell introduces collectors, curators, gallery owners and artists who are world-widely related to activities of Deutsche Bank Art.

Deutsche Bank has initiated an "art talk" to be held every day at 5:00 pm at the VIP Lounge. Internationally renowned experts, such as Dr. Jean-Christophe Ammann or Gerard Andrew Goodrow, manager of Art Cologne, exemplify in a select environment strategies, aspects and trends of art collecting.

Furthermore, this year Deutsche Bank Art is delighted to announce a premiere: For the first time we are represented with a booth at the fair. In hall 3.1 you can not only gain an overview over the latest publications but you can receive our brightly designed press kit.

Aside information on the bank’s commitment to art the kits include a limited edition of especially designed plastic slip cases with artists’ posters by Franz Ackermann, Marc Brandenburg and Miwa Yanagi – to collect and as a gift.

If you visit Art Cologne, do not miss visiting us, be it for a drink at the Lounge, to attend a talk or simply to find out more about Deutsche Bank art.
